One typical scene in the operation theater garbed with lead apron and the thyroid shield. You are exposed to radiation from C arm, but without which you cannot do any modern procedures.

Osteochondral Fragment in the Knee Joint

This is an osteochondral fragment in the knee joint. We call it a loose body or a joint mouse. It keeps running around the joint and that hurts the cartilage. It also locks the joint occasionally. So it has to be removed. This one was stuck at the lateral side of the joint and was easily taken out.

Dislocation of the Shoulder Joint

This is 67 years old lady who fell on her outstretched hand and came to me with this dislocation of the right shoulder joint.

Shoulder joint is the most commonest  for dislocation in the whole body.

Usually quite easy to reduce without any anesthesia in the acute stage. But she is quite sensitive , I have to manipulate under anesthesia to achieve the reduction.
